The first movie our group is watching is “Pee-Wee’s big Adventure". The scene in the movie that I like the most is the breakfast scene. It makes you feel like you’re in a giant play house because of all of the toys he has in his house. I think the funniest part is when his breakfast is automatically being made for him. This seems like a typical scene that the Tim Burton would make considering his newest film that is coming out is "Alice in Wonderland". Over all I like the movie and thought it was really funny.
In "Pee-Wee's Big Adventure" The main character Pee-Wee seems like the perfect guy to play this role. My reasoning for this is that Pee-Wee sort of looks a little bit ridicules and crazy. He also has a bit of an odd personality. This type of character seems like a typical character that Tim Burton would makeup based on other films I have seen and heard about. I think a really good scene to represent all of what I have said is the tequila scene. Again I really loved the movie and thought it was great.
In the movie pee wee's adventure there are alot of funny and wild scene's. Tim Burton make pee so outrageous that it really adds to the movie and i couldn't see any other actor play him. One scene that really stood out too me was when pee wee walked into the biker bar because you know from the second he stumbled in there trouble was going to occur. I think that this is like Tim Burton to add humor in even when the characters in a tight spot. In the end i thought the movie was excellent and definitely watch it again
Pee-wee's big adventure was an excelent film. the director, Tim burton has original ideas and excelent themes. in this particulair movie the theme seemed to be a childish society. The theme made for some great humor becuase of the age of the actors. pee-wee is a wacky funny guy with a small hint of creepyness. the plot lived up to the title, it was very adventures snd started of quite faster than i had expected. Tim Burton is a Charactor himself and really show himself in his work. Pee-wee Herman is onslaught of comedy, and could be played by any other actor in my mind.
I finished watching pee wee's big adventure and thought the rest was great. one scene that i would like to touch base on is when pee wee thinks that francis stole his bike and they begin to fight in the water. The fact that francis is in a bath tub the size of a pool, playing with ships is a funny sight and on top of it him and pee start rolling around in the water. This is very tipical of Tim Burton and look forward to seeing his new film alice in wonderland.
pee-wee's big Adventure seemed to have a reocuring theme of child like behaivors or growing up. i really hope to see this theme in the other movies our group watches. Also i am looking forward to seeing more original humor.
The second film we choose to watch is the new "Alice in Wonderland". Overall I thought it was a great movie, but the animated characters didn't seem like the common characters Tim Burton deals with. It must have been a real big change from having human actors to animated ones. Again I really liked the movie and thought it was a great film to see and suggest it to anyone who wants to see a great movie.
In the film "Alice in Wonderland" there were many crazy and fun scenes. The scene I liked the most is the scene where we first meet Johnny Depp playing "the Mad Hatter". I like this scene the most because Johnny Depp looks very crazy and he seems like the perfect person to play "the Mad Hatter". This character that John Depp plays seems to be the typical character that Tim Burton tends to deal with. All of the films I have seen so far I have really liked and I’m looking forward to watching another one of Tim Burtons films.
the second movie we watch for the dierector movie club project was Alice in wonder land [2010]. Tim burton definetly showed through this movie and captivated his audience. the movie had me on edge and curious on what might happen next. the movie confused me a little becuase it says it was her second visit to "Wonderland" and seemed like an artists conception of the movie rather than how i remember the book or the older movie. though it seemed altered it was still a greaat movie

One key scene that really drew in my attention was when Alice meets the mad hatter because of the fact that everyone is insane. The movie i thought was a typical one that Tim Burton would direct because of the way he adds humor into the scenes. Over all i really liked the movie even though it was slightly insane
Another thing that i would like to touch base on is how many times Alice changed dresses due to the shrinking potions and growing cakes. I wouldn't expect anything different from Tim Burton looking back at how he directed pee wee's big adventure and i thought johnny depp was the perfect person to play the mad hatter. In all i thought the movie was great and would definitely recommend it
Are third and final movie is "Beetle Juice". My favorite scene is When the husband and wife are in the waiting room. That is the funnest part of the movie in my opinion. One of the main characters Beetle Juice seems to be a normal type of character that Tim Burton seems to deal with in all of his films he has made. I really like how creative Tim Burton was with Beetle Juice it really seemed to make the movie.
Another thing I really liked about the movie "Beetle Juice" is that it is very stylized. It was a very creative setting and that also made the what it is. It seems to be that most of he fims Tim Burton seems to make have some sort of stylized setting in the film. I guess this is just how Tim Burton like to make his movies. Again like every movie we watched I have really enjoyed the movie he's maked and will continue to see his films he makes.
